Blue: Bequette, Kollar, Baker, Henson Red*: McCann, Corley, C. Knisley, K. Knisley Sundays mud-fest was played at Arnold Park, with rain falling heavily during most of the game. The first few innings were played well, with Kollar and C. Knisley on the mound for their respective teams. The Red Team was able to put up 3 runs in the bottom of the first, largely due to walks, but also with a few hard base hits. As the game dragged on and the rain continued to fall, the pitching got uglier and uglier, but no more runs scored. McCann and Baker both closed for their teams, with a 3-0 final, giving Kyle Knisley his first win on the 2015 season, and Paul Kollar his first loss. Red: Bequette, Voelker, K. Knisley Due to time constraints, Friday consisted of yet another 3-inning game. Captains were the two remaining undefeated league leaders Lucas Voelker and Paul Kollar, each sending a Knisley out to the mound. The game was a pitching dual, neither side allowing a run until the top of the third, when after a delay, Kyle Knisley walked the first two batters, then allowed two consecutive hits which scored the go-ahead run. He walked in two more runs after a controversial call, before finally getting out of the inning after allowing 3 runs. Red*: Bequette, Voelker, Kollar, Corley, McCann In today's short 3-inning game, Corey Knisley led the blue team from the mound, while Paul Kollar and his red team played behind starting pitcher Tyler McCann. The Blue Team took a one run lead in the first and added to it in the second, with a 2-0 lead going into the bottom of the third. The Red Team rallied in the third, and scored a winning run via walk. NL: Wynn, McCann, Baker, K. Knisley, Henson, Wagner, Wheeling, Bequette The 2015 opener was a split AL/NL game at Bohrer Park. The game started with a bang when Paul Kollar hit a solo home run in the very first at bat of the season, which set the tone for the entire game.
