A while back, a creative firm based out of St. Louis, Missouri called Grain, Inc. created a short video that not only showcased their creativity, but also highlighted daily life in St. Louis. While only a couple of minutes long, the video showed scenes from almost every traditional St. Louis location imaginable, from the Gateway Arch, to the City Museum, and of course… Busch Stadium. The video went viral among the Midwest, and gave viewers a renewed sense of community and pride in their city.
Right now, those values are nowhere to be seen. The Gateway to the West is in pieces right now following the controversial shooting of Michael Brown by a Ferguson police officer and the riots that have ensued because of it. Tensions are higher than ever, and the eyes of the nation have fallen on St. Louis, Missouri in the worst way possible.
You may have seen the video before, but a reminder of the beauty of St. Louis could never hurt… especially now.
Here is St. Louis.
