Power With A Purpose is the Gateway Baseball Club's way of giving back to the community through charitable donations, volunteer work, promotion of causes/organizations, and any other way possible. This year, the money raised through our efforts will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
Our entire program has been rebuilt for 2015! The new PWAP is a fan engaging home run pledge program that allows participants to pledge as little as $1 for every home run hit by the Gateway Baseball Club during the regular season, with an option to include home runs hit during the 2015 Home Run Derby. There is also the option to donate for home runs hit only during the Derby.
Participants will be alerted weekly by text message and email, keeping the weekly donations extremely manageable. Each donation is optional, so if money is tight one week, you can easily skip a payment. Likewise, if you have a few extra dollars you'd like to donate, you can always donate extra as well! If you would rather make a single donation to PWAP instead of pledging per home run, click the "Donate" button.

How much will I be giving?
Because donations are made based on the number of home runs hit, it is impossible to determine exactly how much your pledge will raise. In order to give you the best idea we can, we have used the numbers from our last two seasons to use as examples. It is important to remember that these are totals throughout the entire baseball season (March-September), and that you are not required to pay the full amount. Donations are made weekly, and if you are unable to make a donation that week, it is absolutely alright!
